Speak Up Holiday Programme

Private programmes can begin once the child’s speaking goals, lesson plan and timetable have been agreed with the parent.Families can choose either the five-session private intensive or the full ten-session private programme.Small-group programmes begin when children of a similar age and level can be matched for the same schedule. Group availability may therefore take longer to confirm.

Each Speak Up session is 90 minutes long and includes a varied mix of speaking activities, discussion, practice and feedback.Private lesson times are arranged with the parent according to the child’s availability and the teacher’s timetable.Small-group times are confirmed once children of a similar age and level can attend the same schedule.As the programme is available internationally, all lesson times will be confirmed clearly in the family’s local time zone before payment.

Speak Up is taught live online and is available in two formats.Private programmes:Families can choose either five or ten 90-minute sessions. The programme is adapted to the child’s confidence level and speaking goals, with individual practice, teacher-led role-play, presentations and personalised feedback.Small-group programmes:The ten-session programme may be offered when children of a similar age and level can attend the same schedule. Group sessions also include peer discussions, collaborative speaking activities and structured debates.Private places can begin once a timetable has been agreed. Small-group places depend on suitable availability and may take longer to arrange.

Children need a reliable internet connection and a laptop, desktop computer or tablet with a working camera and microphone.They should also have a quiet space where they can speak comfortably, along with a notebook or paper for planning ideas and short speaking activities.No previous public speaking or debate experience is required. The programme is taught step by step in a supportive, age-appropriate way.Parents are welcome to remain nearby, particularly during the child’s first session.

The local-currency equivalent and the cancellation terms applicable to the booking will be confirmed before payment.

The cancellation and refund terms applicable to the booking will be provided clearly before payment.Private sessions can normally be rescheduled when at least 24 hours’ notice is provided, subject to teacher availability.Private sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed without notice, are normally treated as used.Small-group sessions cannot usually be rescheduled for one child because the other children will continue with the agreed timetable. Where appropriate, supporting materials or a brief lesson summary may be provided.If The Best Learning Solutions cancels a session or programme and cannot provide a suitable alternative, families will receive a refund for the affected session or sessions.Any statutory cancellation or consumer rights applicable to the booking remain unaffected.
